Exquisite Cadaver is an exercise in the exploration of accident, based on a parlour game played by surrealist intellectuals in the 1920s. The name is derived from one of the resulting sentences of the first game played, “Le cadavre exquis boira le vin nouveau.” (The exquisite corpse will drink the young wine.)
